Her role in the role of Willie Scott (an American nightclub performer and singer) in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), produced by her later husband Steven Spielberg, is her most famous role. She was in Dreamscape (1984), Power (86), SpaceCamp (1986) and Black Rain(89), Love Affair, Love Affair (1994), Just Cause (1895) as well as The Love Letter (1999) She has continued to become a household name. Capshaw who's portrait has been displayed at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was born Kathleen Sue Nail in Fort Worth Texas. She is the daughter of Beverley Sue Simon (nee Simon), beauty therapist and travel agent as well as Edwin Leon Nail, an employee of the airline. [4] She was five years old when she moved to St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School. Capshaw obtained a degree in education at the University of Missouri, where she was a part of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a teacher of special education at Southern Boone High School, Ashland, Missouri, as and Rock Bridge High School, Columbia, Missouri.
